Bruin Bash!
So Jacob, my suitemate told me it's worth going. I figured why would I not go? So I read about the ticket distribution online. It said all lines formed before 2pm would be disbursed by professional security. Cool, I'll be there at 2 then, I thought. I lagged and ended up going to get food at like 3. I sat with some girls. I rarely sit alone lol. They were going to get Bruin Bash tickets too. We were there at 4 and there was a huge mob. I just cut to the front and got my wristband. I love being above the system. It was orange, but I thought nothing of it. I went back and told the two girls to just cut. I was on the side because I already had one on and the security made me move(but didn't mind the cutting lol). I couldn't see them after, so I went back home. I forgot to mention I found a wallet the day Isaiah, Jacob, and I were chilling in the Commons til like 4am. I tried facebooking the guy but he didn't respond. So I asked our RA about that guy and she accidentally told me where he stays. Isaiah and I went there and at the doorway, one of Jacob's friend passed by with a group of people and said hi. I asked if she or her friends knew where he was. "We're going to hang out with him right now!" says Nadine, this irresistible middle eastern girl. What a really weird coincidence because I wasn't even going to ask them about him, I was just gonna go to his room. Something made me ask them. Fate? Anyway, we accompany them to their meet up spot. I tell them not to tell him. I notice her wristband is purple, so I ask her about it. She says it's for the front seats, white is middle, and orange is the top. God dammit, I hope mine don't suck. We get there and make introductions. I ask him how life's been and he immediately responds good, as opposed to the awkward response to that question I would expect. I ask him if he lost anything recently and pull out his wallet. He's happy, nearly ecstatic. I'm happier providing it to him than he is to get it. That ecstatic response was the whole reason I went out of my way to deliver it to him first hand. It wasn't worth it. Anyway I was about to dip and the girls were too. I asked Nadine for her number and she says she's dating him right there and points to the guy next to the guy I gave the wallet to. Wow. Usually you hear "I have a boyfriend" or similar but this was different.
Later on I dress fly af for the concert and Jon comes with, I figure I can get him in. It doesn't work and I go in alone. I walk in and only purple has a typical concert, standing up and vibing. Everyone else is seated because it's the basketball stadium. Well my seats suck ass and the speakers weren't loud enough. I try a few different seats. I tried sitting in white by flipping my wristband inside out but security made me leave. I eventually got a text inviting me to a game night. Sounds like fun. I grabbed Jon and we went over. We get there and there was security at the hall because it was past 9pm. She had to come down and get us a guest pass. We went up and there were just 2 people playing cards. Wow. So we brought out poker and went to the lounge with us 4 or 5 and it was alright. I'm not a fan of it, but we kept playing. I told Jon let's go so I can grab food when it was 11 but we ended up leaving at like 11:30 cause he loves poker. We were going to grab food then blaze, and I saw someone from my orientation with some friends who was also just about to blaze. Again fate? Spending however much time we did at poker was necessary to catch these people. We told them where we were headed and they went there as we went to get food. We got food and they were waiting outside lol. We all headed over to the spot on the dirt hill and smoked a blunt. Nice. One of them had a med card. Great! We had put our food down on like an electrical box and when I picked it up I noticed ants. They were almost inside mine and apparently quite inside Jon's. :( So we went over to their lounge and chilled high af and I met a lot of other girls. One being Bernice and I got her number. Jon was quiet the whole night. That's about it. Quite eventful.
