Zero Week @ UCLA Begins!

Day 1: 9/17: I move in and Jacob is here by the time I'm back from walking my parents home. I help move him in and have dinner with his family. Raphe moves in too. Isaiah is in n out.

vanilla chai

my cousins, my family, and these relatives over from india are on the way to wine country and solvang. we stop at santa barbara which was cute but boring. when we finally get to wine country 5 people took the course of tasting. i had some. it was utter shit. the next place my dad dropped out but the other 4 drank. buzzed cousins are hilarious. anyway when we finally got to solvang we parked and walked down. and there was this shop. that i might never forget..."ingleborg's". we step in and a few order chais. there was a spiced and vanilla so my cousins has some and says t something along the lines of "this is heaven in a drink. wanna try some?" and those were the last words I heard in that boring stage of life. I say sure expecting some shit chai that only coffee drinkers would like (sorry vanillabh it was before I drank you <3).. the second that drink touched my taste buds, life changed. I don't understand what people do. I'm in Los Angeles, the second largest city in the USA and the 12th largest city in the world. Yet still, I'm at a loss for things to do with my family. Please take your time to add to this list. Shopping at Galleria, 3rd Street Promenade, Topanga Mall or other nice places Bowling? Six Flags or other amusement parks Movies Out to eat The Beach Now let me also add that maybe we don't do activities because of our hesitance to spend money. I just had a long conversation with my parents after I tried to impromptu take everyone to watch Despicable Me 2 because my sister wanted to go and my Dad watched 1 yesterday so he would understand 2. The conversation consisted of me telling everyone that for the past 16 years we don't do anything as a family.
