i think we as a people judge others based on their genes too much. something thats not in their hand. something they cant control. whether theyre hot, ugly, dark, light, short, tall, fat, skinny, hairy, hairless, have acne, or dont have acne, they didnt choose to be that way. we need to judge people based on how they choose to be..meaning their personality and how they treat you.
in this society we look down upon people that arent the perfect height, complexion, height, and arent "hot"
but who are we to judge the perfect of all these, especially looks.
really, we need to look down upon people that dont treat people right.
me personally, certain people would always point out and be disgusted because my legs were hairy. i came to realize that people were only disgusted the more i let them be. when i stood strong at a point that thats just how i am and im proud of it, people were no longer disgusted.
but that doesnt work for most things
its ones self esteem that we kill. because the person feels that they will be judged. thats not the feeling we should be giving. each person should feel grateful that they were born with a functioning brain and limbs.
i have acne and theres no point in me not writing about this topic because, well, its there. its obvious.
but you see, i didnt choose to have it. as much as you try to block it from hurting ur self esteem...it does
because thats just how society is..we judge people on things they dont have in their control.
looks. i cant say if im hot or not but i can say there was this one guy who alot of girls said he was hot and they liked. but wait, why are u judging this person, even though positive, based on something he didnt choose to have or didnt work for. something that was just received. and even in the future, they are more likely to approach and date someone they find hot rather rather than someone they dont. and instantly his life has become better than the "less fortunate" "ugly" guy...from something he didnt work for.
and the same goes for girls, i might be with my friends when someone says someone is ugly. and instantly we are much less likely to approach her. and the girl who we find attractive we will approach very quickly.
and who cares if that person sitting next to u weighs a little more than you? why does it make a difference to you? why do u think its in your hands to make fun of this person? in fact its not in anyones hands. just because they weigh more than you or your friend doesnt mean they arent human.
and no matter how much i share this on facebook itll never reach the amount of people it should....
